Mortgage Advice ....

Your mortgage is going to be the largest amount of money that you will ever borrow in your life so getting it right is crucial. There are millions of different types of mortgage's and when one may be ideal for one person it could prove disastrous to another.

When you choose your mortgage you should always make sure that you an comfortably afford the monthly repayments as your home is always used as security against your mortgage and if repayments are not made this can be repossessed by the bank. The average householder should pay roughly one third of their monthly wage to the mortgage company, any more will leave you short and any less will result in more interest being aid on your mortgage.

Insurance is available against your mortgage and the cost of this varies from company to company but it means that if you get sick and are unable to work or if you get made redundant from work then your mortgage still gets paid for a period of 12 months by the insurers. This gives you great piece of mind especially in workplaces where jobs are not very secure so I strongly recommend this.
